Always alert, it will give visitors an enthusiastic welcome with its bark, making it a good watchdog. The Iceland dog is a cheerful, friendly, inquisitive and playful breed that adores children, will get along well with other animals and loves to be in the company of its family. It prefers the outdoor lifestyle. Early consistent training and socialisation is a must.
