Coat

Hair standing straight out from the body, undercoat dense and very finely curled. Short on head and front of legs, longer on the brisket and backs of legs, bushy and dense on the tail. Forms a ruff around the neck

Usually solid black but bronzing is typical. White on chest, feet and tip of tail

A good, alert watchdog; lively with a willingness to work, they are very receptive and versatile in their ability. An experienced handler will find them easy to train for various tasks.
