Temperament
A large dog but very placid and docile whilst being a sociable dog with people. As a quite stubborn dog, a firm hand is needed to train it but the end product is worth the effort. A slow mover indoors, the Bloodhound springs to life outside and turns into a playful animal, which is when good training comes into play to make sure the stubborn streak does not take over, and he ignores your commands.
