Coat
Long, flat or slightly wavy, rough to touch with an abundant undercoat. The head has a beard, moustache, tuft and eyebrows.

Fawn, sable, and grey. Mixtures of fawn, brown, grey, black and white hairs make up the coat colours.

While at work herding and guarding the flocks, their hardiness means they can adapt to all types of terrain. They have a pleasant character but will remain wary of strangers, therefore early, sufficient socialisation is essential, as is consistent training.
