Outside of their natural working environment, they display a good natured temperament which makes them a good choice for a family dog. They enjoy and flourish in the love around them.
Temperament
The English Setter is a beautiful dog which performs superbly in the field and the show ring. Its placid and loving temperament makes it a good companion for children and adults alike. While needing training it is easy to do and will give you a well-behaved, energetic, affectionate dog.
