Coat

Calm inside the house, the breed is very energetic outside and will always be happy to go for a walk or go hunting following the scent of a hare or fox. Working independently, he is a good tracking dog and pursues the quarry with deep barking. The Finnish Hound should be of a gentle nature, proving to be a good companion to a consistent and firm owner.
