Coat

The hair is profuse and the males have an abundant mane. The outer coat is long, straight and harsh. On the head and on the front side of the legs, the coat is shorter. They have an undercoat that is soft and dense.

Markings

Can be all colours but the basic colour must be dominant; other colours can occur on the head, neck, chest and underside of the body, on legs and tail.
