The Grand Griffon Vendeen is a beautiful dog with an intelligent and friendly, loving nature. The Grand Griffon Vendeen was originally bred for hunting big game, namely stag, roe deer and wild boar, and will hunt in a pack or singly as a liner dog (a dog on leash and used to pick up a cold scent trail).
