Tricolour. Black upper neck, back, sides of trunk and upper side of tail. Tan head, ears, legs, sides of neck, trunk and tail. White blaze on upper part of the muzzle, under and upper side of the neck, breast, tip of the tail, lower parts of the legs and the feet.

They are talented hunting dogs and are very loyal to their family and are known to protect them if they are ever in danger. A beautiful breed, the Hamilton Hound has many admirers.
Temperament
The Hamilton Hound is a friendly, sweet and gentle-natured hound that loves to be in social situations and with their family. They have very strong hunting instincts and care is required around non-canine animals. They usually hunt alone for large game, rather than in a pack, where they find and flush the game towards the guns. They are courageous and very resistant to cold weather.
