Temperament
The Komondor is a protective breed by nature, as this is the task it was originally bred for; as a result, it can be reserved and wary of strangers. They are a very brave breed, taking on all comers and usually getting the better of them. Because of their strength, they need firm training from a young age. Used to being independent, if they are to live in a house, they need to be sufficiently socialised from a young age, coupled with training to ensure they do not be come too dominant and overpowering.
