It is affectionate to its family but wary of strangers, making it an excellent watchdog. The Korean Jindo Dog retains the natural ability to act as a guardian and protect its territory. It has an incredible sense of direction. Socialisation from a young age is highly advisable, and sensitive and consistent but not repetitive training is ideal.
