Temperament
The Nordic Spitz is a very active, lively breed of dog. They have a very stable personality which should be neither nervous nor aggressive. They make a good guard dog though are very affectionate and can make excellent family companions as they are very good with children. When out hunting they should be alert, attentive, daring and self-confident. They can adapt to life in the city providing they receive sufficient exercise. Training should be consistent and firm. Socialisation from an early age is best to assist in curtailing their wariness of strangers.
