The Polish Mountain Dog is energetic and loving. It is alert and intelligent with a calm temperament. A good herding dog and excellent flock guardian it is courageous and agile. Very affectionate to its family it will protect them and its territory. The Polish Mountain Dog requires early socialisation and gentle but consistent training; it does not respond well to harsh handling.
