Coat
Longhaired: Long or semi-long, dense, flat or slightly wavy hair; sometimes cords are formed;
Smooth-faced: Semi, long or shorter, longest on the neck, withers and mainline of the back
Markings
Light or dark fawn, black, or brindle. Some dark hairs are found. White marks on the head, chest and limbs can be found.

Average 12-14 years
He is very friendly towards his family, loving to receive and give affection. Always happy to join in family activities, he makes a wonderful pet and a fantastic sheepdog, for which he was originally intended.
Temperament
The Pyrenean Sheepdog is a devoted breed, becoming strongly attached to his owner and even able to sense his owner's mood. He loves his family but has a tendency to be very wary of strangers. He should be socialised at an early age to overcome shyness.

The Pyrenean Sheepdog is a lovely-looking breed at but is not suited to everyone. Originally the Pyrenean Sheepdog was bred as a herding dog and a flock guardian.
