The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is highly intelligent, bold and fearless, and extremely reliable. Devoted to his family, he thrives on companionship and can be very protective when necessary. This breed has been known as the 'Nanny Dog' in England as it is so good with children, able to tolerate rough handling better than other breeds. This obedient and affectionate dog makes for an excellent companion and family pet.
