Brindle or all shades of fawn. Can have a mask, may have black shadings and white marks are allowed under the jaw, lower part of the neck, forechest, abdomen and lower parts of the legs.

Their muscular frame gives anybody it loves a sense of added protection and looks like a formidable opponent for anyone thinking of challenging the breed. They are not only talented watchdogs but also hunters of big game, and herding.

The Uruguayan Cimarron is a protective breed with great courage. As part of a family the breed gives you a sense of extra protection whenever they are around you. They are intelligent dogs that are not wise to cross.
