EUKANUBA Daily Care dry dog food for adult dogs - Mono-Protein Salmon* is our formula with just one source of animal protein. All animal ingredients in this mono species diet are from salmon only to reduce the risk of adverse food reactions and to support lean muscles. This tasty recipe contains the prebiotics FOS & MOS and beet pulp which help to support healthy digestion while added gluten-free sweet potato provides a natural source of fibre and minerals. Enriched with a tailored calcium content, this feed helps to support strong bones. Packed with a range of antioxidants and vitamins to help support a healthy immune system, this food is a delicious alternative for dogs with intolerances.

Adverse food reaction is the collective term for different medical conditions. These reactions include toxic reasons and non-toxic reasons such as allergy, coeliac disease (gluten) or non-immune intolerances (e.g. lactose intolerance).
Mono-Protein recipes reduce the risk of adverse food reactions by limiting possible allergens of animal origin. Our EUKANUBA Mono-Protein Salmon* recipe is also grain free** to avoid potential sources of allergens in this area as well.
Mono-Protein diets are based on just one source of animal protein. A recipe with not only the animal protein but also all the other animal-derived ingredients coming from only one species can be considered as mono-species food.
Both FOS and MOS are prebiotic dietary fibers. FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) are prebiotic fibers of vegetal origin and can provide nutrition for beneficial intestinal bacteria. MOS (mannan-oligosaccharides) are made from yeast cell walls and their main function is to support the presence of beneficial bacteria and lower the levels of potentially harmful bacteria.
